You will also see the value of the idea of knowing that your snobby neighbor paid nearly twice the quality for the same varieties found in your economically wine values.

Experimenting a little is definitely a great way to find great wine values. Instead of automatically looking at the often expensive Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon try looking for a Pinot Blanc or a Pinot Noir instead. You will be pleasantly surprised to try less popular varieties as they can lead to big discoveries.

You might also consider wines from different regions. Australia and New Zealand have a great wine for very little money. Check the local winery, too.You can reveal some truly local treasures and you can also choose to buy wine by the case. Wineries often offer a discount if you buy in bulk.
